JP's game today.

Noel welcomes us to a new week of Deal. He refers back to Anita’s game, which started badly, but turned around after she donned a pair of lucky slippers!

Hopefully JP has the GUTS to win big on this Monday morning/afternoon (depending on where you live ;) ).

JP has Box 13.

John Paul Donohue, from Edinburgh, a service technician for a media service company. His partner Hayley is in the audience; Noel brings up the chance of a proposal! ;) He has a photo of Hayley with his two young sons.

Here we go...

Round 1

JP is quite superstitious, and says it's weird he has Box 13! He has a slight system to do with merchandising, which he doesn't properly explain. :ponder: Noel is confused!

Box 15 with Joe - 50p

Box 10 with Patrick - £5

Box 17 with Lindsay - £500

Box 1 with Sharon - £15,000

A few gasps, but Noel says it's alright.

Box 7 with Erin - £75,000 :?

Oh bother, says Noel.

Banker time...

Hopefully the Banker makes a proposal-conditional offer during the game as they tend to be generous for the board.

We're happy with that, says Noel. The Banker thinks JP really stands for 'just propose'! ;) He says he will if JP won't! He thinks JP is cautious but sensible, and has been bringing up Box 23 a lot on the wings.

BANKER'S OFFER

£7,500

Noel calls a break...

This week's competition prize is £10,000, with fifty runners-up getting £50 and a DoND mug! Noel gives us out first plug for it.

110% obvious that there's going to be a proposal-conditional offer during the game after all the banter about it so far.

"Average wedding costs £15-£16,000"

Can Noel not ever make up his mind? I've heard him say £12k and £14k before.

We're back...

Noel gives us our daily reminder of Box 23's potential contents.

Round 2

Box 20 with Erica - £20,000

Box 22 with Jason - £1,000

On to Scott, who used to be a flower arranger; cue a bad pun from Noel!

Box 5 with Scott - £50

Banker time...

Noel mentions how JP used to be a hairdresser. The Banker is concerned JP will go for Box 23 if he wins a good sum.

BANKER'S OFFER

£10,000

JP says that sum would be unbelievable for him and Hayley. He mentions how they had two sons back to back; Noel says that's an odd way to do it! :eyes:  Hayley says it's still a good board.

JP says:

NO DEAL

The Banker is so wrong! You'd be an idiot to risk more than £10,000 on Box 23!

Round 3

Box 18 with Vicky - £50,000 :?

Ooh no, says Noel.

Box 12 with Melissa - £35,000  :?

That is a serious setback, says Noel.

Box 21 with Dora next, but Noel calls a break first...

Why not just make the 12-box break permanent already instead of this "open the box after the break" nonsense?! :smt015
