Lily's game today.

Noel talks about how people used to fear box 22, but now people fear box 23! He says it's well and truly taken over since it was introduced just a few games ago, judging by the despair and delight it's caused so far.

Lily has box 21.

Lily is from Coventry and has her husband in the audience. We see a photo of her and her husband dressed up for karaoke. She used to have a karaoke business and did a lot of events. We also see a photo of her family and she talks about who they all are.

Here we go...

So she should have £75,000 or the £250,000 today then! :smt023

Whatever she has, lets hope she gets a good result. :smt023

Do they have an on-set hairdresser for Deal? There are some very odd styles going on today.

No you dope... she's got the £50,000 today. It's a repeating pattern. :smt011 :P

They're sure keeping Dean on the wings for a long time. :blueponder

Anyway, hopefully Lily is as brave as the last Lily that played and gives the Banker a run for his money, especially after that SUPERB opening round. :smt023

Sorry, I thought one of those twenties was £35,000!

Now that's a start I'm sure most would be after. :smt023

Noel says we've not seen that for a while and it's a disaster for the banker. The banker says he didn't think he'd have to make high offers for Lily.

Banker's offer:

£16,000

I was pretty certain he'd be playing today. He doesn't seem like a Sunday player.

And a higher opening offer than Nick's!

Ah... sorry, haha :P

Amazing start, by the way. Hopefully he'll decline the first offer. :-D £16,000 is quite a lot of money but the game could have the potential to be worth a lot more (if he chooses right).

Lily says she's started to shake! She says she'd like to take her family on holiday.

Lily says

NO DEAL

Noel calls a break...

How come Noel was keen to see her turn that first offer down, but didn't mind whether Nick did or not? :ponder:

I hope the next lot of offers don't go to 2013 territory again.

It would be quite interesting to see what would happen if she dealt... she may have even fluked it and got an OPW. Though my stance on 17-box deals still wouldn't budge.

Yes, what would they do for the other 50 minutes? :ponder:

Noel would rub it in when the almost certain mortifying disaster of a proveout occurs. Now that's good teevee.

(I'm sure the Banker would certainly make some inflated proveout offers...)
