Hopefully that hypothetical 2 box offer is a sign that the Banker is willing to make good final offers on volatile finishes again.

Another promising game that seemed to be cut short by a £350k round. Managed to recover it though to a 5-box where neither decision was really wrong.

Mixed bag of a game, - bad start, decent recovery only to go belly up again in round 4. Decent recovery to £4,250 and not an unreasonable deal under the circumstances

We're getting a few games lately where friends and/or family make a surprise appearance at the first offer. Unaccompanied players should perhaps beware of playing to a half empty studio

A game with all the bad luck condensed into 2 rounds, but what a pair of rounds they were. Niall may well have turned down the £10k at 11-box without the family influence, although it's difficult to tell given he (admirably, perhaps) admitted he didn't think he had a red. £4,250 was one of those offers that was probaby better than it looked - yes there were 3 amounts higher but if you lost the £20k you might end up having to take the box (as blue/£5k and blue/£10k come with no guarantee of a good get-out based on previous experience). Fair play to Niall, he got a decent result from a tough board.
