Noel opens Box 1 and reveals £15,000

Yay, a draw! Haven't seen that for ages! A satisfying end to a tense game. :smt023

Got a feeling it's not quite as rare as Noel says. I know of at least one, Jean's game during Love Week 2010, because it was the first game I saw live.

In the end a fair result (although the stick at 5-box seemed generous before the 8-box offer was lower than it should have been).

A draw and a spanking at the same time so both Banker and player will be happy. Banker because the player didn't make a profit on their box and the player because they got the most out of the game.

No, the newbie in Rosie's game was Shola. Nadia must have been the newbie in Danny's game.

Yes. So therefore, Nadia has replaced Rosie. :smt023

Interesting to see the Banker getting (and using) the opportunity to go to average generosity after an 8-box lowball and then a damaging round 5. It's a good tactic, and a creditable draw.

Definitely an arguable either way 5 box decision, especially with the Banker's low offers recently. Her Deal was only slightly cautious, so a DRAW is definitely a far result.

It's great to see a few....er, irregular? No, un-regular....er, less frequently posting members, popping up from time to time. :D :smt023

Interesting game. Quite a generous offer after the loss of £250,000, particularly given how many reds were left on the board, but the key is what those reds were. They had high value, which evidently worked in Kimberley's favour.

Don't quote me on some of that. There were 3 reds left....

....at 5-box. :blueponder :laughing

I wasa bit worried Kimberley had a touch of red fever but that proved to be a textbook game. The 5 box offer was definitely worth taking given she would have had to keep 2 reds in play to get a significantly better offer, but then to take out the only two amounts higher in the proveout round is just the dream.

Surprised no-one here has actually come up with the number of draws there have been in the past 2300-plus shows :-D

I think there's been 10 to 12 draws, somewhere close to that figure, Noel obviously is losing his memory! I thought Kimberley got less cautious as the game went on, as a reaction to the pressure, she seemed to react badly at one point, perhaps other things she said angered Noel when he told her to treat her Dad with more respect, I think there was more to that than the one comment where she told him pretty forcefully to stop messing around with his advice and get to the point!

I couldn't think of it at the time but now I could have sworn Laura from Scotland wore exactly the same shoes as Kimberley, Noel loved them, he has a bad foot fetish doesn't he! The longer the game went on the more mouthy Kimberley seemed to get, she ended up being a contestant that I didn't hate, but she wasn't one of my favourites, perhaps she just didn't react well to the stress, her Dad seemed amazing though, people from Yorkshire who go on the show (I'm from West Yorkshire) all seem to be very down to Earth, level headed and sensible people for some reason!
