Exactly, not one of those wingers reminded her that big money was VERY much due to come to the table. And at 4 box she had a 50% chance of having huge money in her box... The £75k had only come to the table twice in the year before this show.

Well the drought ended spectacularly! If only she had taken a traditional 5 box round. Very well played by the banker to give that 4 box offer tempter.

When Noel said to her "can you sound a bit more positive" it reminded me of a scene in Airplane II when Striker is in a courtroom. Someone says "don't you know how to have to fun?". The reknowned actor Raymond Burr replies completely deadpan "yes, yes I do". :laughing You have to watch it.. :-D

There is no such thing as due, it is the same chance every game.

Actually the chance of certain numbers NOT coming to the table in a large amount of shows is very low, just like the chance of a certain number coming to the table show after show is VERY low.

4 box definitely worth another punt with an offer of under 40% of the average and only a 1 in 6 disaster chance. One of the easiest Power 5 wins ever squandered. :smt011 :smt011

Rubbish, it could have easily have ended up a 1p/50p finish then we'd all be cheering the fact she'd got 10k out of it.

Yes, but that is before all the games have taken place. After big money has not come to the table for any number of games, the chance of big money coming to the table next game is exactly the same as every other game.

Nah, people would still be complaining. Just read the past weeks of games with cautious deals and people saying "This offers are CRAP and these players should've NO DEALt them" despite them taking a good amount over the contents of their box.

It is certainly about time that a power 5 figure has returned to the table. This rogue game won't be enough for players to be "braver", though; we need several power 5 figures brought to the table in a short period of time, before players start believing in their own boxes. And even then, don't expect the banker's offers to improve; they are only good when the contestants show they will be consistently brave.

Regardless, why on earth do people expect the banker to offer better offers when they've been consistently bad for over a month? :smt011 This isn't charity, for christ's sake.

We needed that type of game, and at least it took a bonus offer to prevent that finish being in live play!

Potentially the first step on the road to a new mini-era.

Early recording for this game, it started around 8:30am due to JLS recording later in the day (after the show that airs Sunday) and forecasts of incoming snow - timed my weekly visit just about right by all accounts! :D

Early start quite appropriate as this was a sleeper game that woke up spectacularly in terms of the all-power-5 finish. Not the worst deal in the world and generosity on blue/red finishes not guaranteed, especially given recent banker behaviour.

First power 5 to come to the table in weeks. Shame Irene had already dealt but that was very much an all or nothing board, I don't know if i would have wanted to gamble on it.

Believing in the boxes?

Believing they brought a power 5 figure instead of a low red or another blue, I mean. Although we all know that yesterday's game determines nothing in today's game box-wise, it certainly influences the player emotionally, and if we have a straight month of blues and low reds being brought to the table, they're not going to believe that pattern would change today.
