And the Nightmare ending, it would have been! What a heartbreaker that would've been in LIVE play!

Banker is crying.

Banker's offer would've been:

3p
:laughing

Well, that was definitely an emotional game, but a good enough result. It's a good thing that worked out for her, otherwise...

For all you complainers: A £2,000 drop after taking out the second and third highest amounts on the board (£15,000 and £75,000) is pretty good. Also, it was higher than four of the five amounts on the board, and the only way to win a comparable amount if the top one goes is by opening the box and having £10,000. So £12,000 is a better offer than it seems at first glance.

This is an OPW in my eyes. Very well played by Loreen.

Enjoy the £12,000 :smt023!

Yet another cautious Deal vindicated.   This really feels like 2008 now, and as soon as someone blows mega-money through a cautious Deal I will be forced to bring back the OH DEAR moment.

Well, what can you say. Dealt her way out of the nightmare finish. Euphoria!

The offers weren't going up, up, up, up, up, up though. ;)

Well as it's a random game that's bound to happen sooner or later, you will do that, you will probably then get righteously banned. I won't be sorry for anyone except the player of that game.

Congratulations! You've just earned your position as the new forum idiot!

This is an accolade that few would be proud of, but you appear to have been fighting harder than 1990s Tyson for the title, so it's only fair to reward your effort.

As for most of us, we wouldn't even hang this certificate of achievement up in our outside toilets.

American Coupon Boy, just a few words for the Daily Star please... How does it feel to be awarded such an accolade?

:D

Statistically on that board, the EV is over £20k but when you have a 60% of at best a £10k/peanuts finish and that offer is likely to force you to open your box, you have a 60% chance of going away with peanuts.

I'd have wanted closer to £15k on that board but £12k is a clever offer if the Banker thinks he doesn't need to go higher.

I think you meant the odds of going away with peanuts is 45% (30% of all-blue finish + 15% of failed £10k attempt) as most people would Deal any half decent offer on a blue/£250,000 finish.
