Round 6 - proveout

Box 11 with Lee - £250,000 :D :-D

Box 1 with Tim - £1

One shot, says Noel.

Box 18 with Sophia - £10,000

Banker time with 1p and £75,000 remaining.

£30,000 on 1p & £75k? I doubt that very much.

Noel wonders if the 1p has come to the table for a second game in a row.

Banker's offer:

BANKER'S GAMBLE

Noel explains what would happen here, and talks up how the 1p can't be on the table again. Craig thinks the other box has the £75,000. The Banker calls, and guarantees the swap. Craig's nan tells him not to do it!

Craig says:

NO DEAL

He keeps the £30,000.

On the other hand, maybe he had the sense not to accept it.

Craig says he would've swapped. Noel hypo-swaps Craig's Box 20 for Reuben's Box 3.

Noel reveals £75,000 in Craig's new Box 3. :(

Another power five yet again missed out on winning

If his gran wasn't there he may have risked it... but with the 1p still in play at two box... doubt it.

Craig's original Box 20, now with Reuben, contains the 1p.

Noel says Craig richly deserves his winnings.

I don't know if that counts as a Banker victory or not. :ponder:

Kudos to Noel for playing the proveout with honesty and giving us the hypo-swap. Hard to think the final outcome was an OBW but I don't begrudge him no dealing the BG.

You do not take blind risks on a final two with the 1p present.

You do not.

But hey, it's useless explaining things to a troll, says the former and now completely reformed troll.

Expect magic.

Was that the lady who gambled £250k/1p? Wasn't she well off and wanted the money to buy a boat or something?

She wanted £200k for a vintage Bentley if I recall.

She wanted to buy a vintage Bentley. BTW, it is not idiotic to take the final punt with 1p in the final two. :smt011 If anything, it's more justified to do so with the 1p there as it holds down the offer and you join a special DoND club if you win it and possibly are invited back.
