Box 9 with Jenny contains the £50.

Michael does a (rather slow) lap of honour! Noel is very glad Michael dealt. Michael says the money will be a big help to him. :D :-D

A very good offer. I'd expect him to deal here, but more chance of an all blue round.

The odds of an all blue round with 6 blues and 2 reds are 35.7%. There are some things that are less likely than that but you might need to be more specific with your statements :D

Cautious deal today but understandable and sweet to hit the £100k first box.

£3,500 I don't think was actually as good as some might make it out to be. Yeah, the FD is somewhere in the £2,000s, but even so, with the mean at £12,000 and something, he could have gone a bit higher. Should have.

But it was a fairly good recovery from the slip-up third round, I have to say. He was fortunate - only fortunate - to find that £100k. I mean, really, really fortunate.

It could have turned nasty had he taken that £3,500, left the reds untouched until 5-box, kept the £100,000 to two-box...you get my drift. Ref: Meena (I forget the date of her game).

Thankfully it didn't turn out like that...and Michael goes home with a respectable amount that he didn't have before he appeared.

All in all, fair is fair. Good game.

Great charecter, rather unlucky game but Michael got out in the nick of time, Yes, he was very lucky to hit the £100,000 in the first box of prove out but by the same token he was very unlucky in the previous two rounds (at least) so it evens out.

Who'd have thought being a bit nuts could work in your favour so well...

£3,500 at 8-box wasn't a no-brainer deal by any stretch but it could have been much worse (particularly after that round), and there'd be no guarantee how much keeping both reds to 5-box would have sent up the offer. Overall, an easy crash avoided, something that seems to have been a running theme for much of this week - definitely not a good one to throw caution to the wind!

I find this game really ironic considering that not only did Michael deal for a low 4-figure amount on a £100k one-box game at 8-box like his namesake from November 2007, but it also feel on the 7th anniversary of Peter who also dealt at £3,500 on a £100k-strong one-box 8-box! (Peter only had £5,000 as his other red when he dealt)

Michael got off lightly compared to the 2 aforementioned players who failed to find the £100k in the proveouts! :)
