Joyce's game today.

Noel talks about Lloyd's game yesterday, and how his fiancee didn't know what he was going to do at 8-box. She later told him she was proud of him for winning £19,000.

Joyce has Box 19 today.

Joyce Haig, from Stocksbridge in Sheffield, a retired psychiatric therapist; she explains what he work involved. She has a photo of her family with her, and another of her and her partner at a fancy dress party; she tells of how her partner's costume is based on Noel's ice cream man costume for the 2009 Summer Specials! Joyce's son and her dancing partner are in the audience for support.

Here we go...

Well, that worked. :) Five figures? Comfortably so! That's decent. Very decent.

Joyce says that's a lovely offer, but she can't go at the first offer; Noel says she can if she wants! Somehow, the conversation flips to Joyce flashing her chest in ASDA's! The Banker gets Joyce to say you can flash your chest in other supermarkets as well!

Joyce says:

NO DEAL

The Banker says Joyce is on fire. He says the current group are very flirtatious. He talks about how Abi and Paulina flirt with the barman to get free drinks, and it's not just apple trees Jean has pulled! He thinks Joyce could be the most dangerous of all, and could take his wallet.

Banker's offer:

£16,000

Joyce says it's a lot of money, but it's a wonderful board. Noel says the Banker is impressed and fearful of Joyce, as she's a big fan of the show, and her enthusiasm could lead her to the Jackpot.

Joyce says:

NO DEAL

Round 3

Noel loves it when the Banker is frightened of the player.

Box 10 with Irene - £100,000

Noel says Irene has been a little devil since she turned up!

Box 5 with Dan - £10,000

Noel calls a break...

Might be a stick if she hits 1p.

Also, these throws to the break SUCK! They always make the players look like idiots.

A genuinely dealable second offer. The third offer might be lowballed even if this is blue now. It is, and it's a low blue, so...

We have found balance with the £100,000, says Noel. The Banker says something scary happened when the £100,000 went; he mentions Joyce's throw to the break, and how she changed her tone during it!

Banker's offer:

£16,000

A stick? That's very generous considering the £100k has gone.

We are some way above the sort of generosity we're normally at before 8-box. Although it's a 7-4 split with the QM in play it's deceptively dangerous.

I might even take this.

Lynda tries to offer Joyce some advice, but Noel mocks the way she says it!  The advice is eventually offered, and it is for Joyce to be calm and sensible, and she could be in trouble if the Jackpot goes. Dan tries to offer some advice too, but something goes wrong with his mike! He says there are eight boxes Joyce can afford to hit. Steve asks Joyce if it's worth the risk. Ryan tells Joyce to do what she wants.

Joyce says:

NO DEAL
