Lloyd's game today.

Happy New Year everyone! :D :smt023

Still no new clips in the opening titles. :ponder:

Noel wishes us all a Happy New Year. We get a look back at some of the best bits of 2012.

Wasn't expecting him to play today! Looks like he could be the secret lovechild of Jimi Hendrix and Lionel Richie. :P
Also, this is quite a long intro, no wonder we started 5 minutes early...

Lloyd has Box 14 today.

Lloyd Quinlan, from Plymouth. His fiancee is in the audience for support, but she prefers to be called his girlfriend, as 'fiancee' is a bit too posh! The Banker calls, and tells Lloyd to get rid of her! Noel gets her to come down and give him a kiss! Lloyd has a photo of two of them together; Noel says Lloyd won the 'Proposal of the Year' award, as a joke! He actually won 'Apprentice of the Year' two years ago.

Lloyd also has a photo of his grandparents, who he hasn't seen for sixteen years, and he also has an ID bracelet worn by his father, and his father.

Noel gives Lloyd his permission to be the first male £250,000 winner.

Here we go...

Noel mentions the first male QM before the game starts. Watch it go before 11-box.

Noel calls a break before we hear from the Banker...

A break before the first offer? What's going on here? :ponder:
Decent opening round, though.

WHAT?! Why a break before the offer?! :x

I hope the offer isn't just going to be £2,013. £13,000 possible?

Seeing as Mark hasn't said it already, I'll take over his job. :p
He had 50p yesterday, £5,000 the day before, £250 the day before that and £10,000 the day before that... Contradicting myself here, but he's definitely due a big red.

We're back...

Noel says it was a cracking opening round. The Banker wishes everyone a Happy New Year! He says Lloyd's girlfriend has already given him the first best bit of 2013!

There is no such thing as due, the chances are exactly the same.

"Ask me the question Noel"
"Lloyd, do you ever wear socks?"

Please don't do this all the time Noel.

Round 2

Noel says Lloyd wants a new dining room set, so a bit of banter around that, which ends up boiling down to how Lloyd proposed to his fiancee. :ponder:  The Banker calls, and says he needs a moment to clean up all the vomit in his office!

Box 2 with Steph - £250,000 :(

Noel says a powerful start is insurance against a big hit like that.

Box 6 with Paulina - £1

Box 4 with Steve - £500

Banker time...

The Banker says losing the Jackpot is always a terrible blow, but it is cushioned by such a good start,

Banker's offer:

£9,750

Yeh, but I do wander why you would say it when it is not true.
