Bert's game today.

Noel looks at all the contestants because they've been dressed up as Christmas dinner food items for the last week! Everyone is dressed smartly today for New Year's Eve.

Think Bert will be worth a watch. First game for me in a while.

Hope it's of good enough broadcast quality to see out this year.

:D

Bert has box 7.

Noel says Bert recently celebrated his birthday while he was on the show and he's now 94! He asks Bert if it's all still working and he says not everything, as the memory's gone a bit. :P He talks about his late wife Doris and how she was his life partner. He shows a pic of him go-karting on his 93rd birthday! Bert has his cleaners in the audience. The banker rings and says it's obvious that Bert wants to take him to the cleaners. :P

Here we go...

The banker says he's had an expensive Christmas and is introducing austerity measures, so he nicked the studio decorations from the office over the road!

Banker's offer:

Bert chooses box 6 before answering the question! He then says some things and makes some gestures which triggers Noel to question whether Bert knows what he is and isn't allowed to say and do on the show. :P

Bert says

NO DEAL

Noel calls a break...

I wonder if the joke offers are a deliberate ploy to show Bert's personality and cut down on thinking time.......

What do you mean by joke offers?

£555 is a joke offer. Yes really.

Wow, that's far fetched even by your lofty standards. :D
