We're back

Banker time

Noel reveals more information about the 5-box twist.

Big Christmas Dinner twist

The player will have to carry an item of food around whilst carrying out various tasks! The player will have to decide between slow cooking or fast cooking.

If the player goes for slow cooking, there's no downside if they drop the item of food, and the upside is winning a holiday. The time limit is 90 seconds.

If the player goes for fast cooking, the upside is winning a holiday and going on one box at a time, but the downside is that the banker will look inside the player's box if they drop the item of food. The time limit is 45 seconds.

Banker's offer:

£10,000

Oh that's actually quite a fun twist by the sounds of it. I especially like how they've presented the difficulty levels. :D

It's sounds a bit inspired by Double Dare etc.

EDIT Or the Cube I guess.

Scary 8-box board if this was a regular game. I'd want £20k+ here I think.

£18,500?! That's a good offer!

Now that's a very good offer... but with the five box twist.

You'd expect 2 blues / 1 red. Question is what the £250k/red/peanuts offer will be at 5-box (and whether he's willing to take the risk of going for 1-box at a time)

That's just about low enough for me to play on confidently if it's a regular game, and I'd be playing this as a regular game with a bit of a fun interlude playing the slow cooking variant of the twist.

Very good offer for the board.

I still don't understand the 5-box twist though even after Noel explaining it. I'd have to see it being played.
It sounds like one of those games from The Cube.

Noel says Billy wants money to pay for his taxi-driving exams, as well as treating his parents to a holiday to Turkey and a new bathroom. The other contestants offer various advice.

Billy says

NO DEAL

Noel says Billy's definitely going to play the twist.

Noel calls a break...

Oh here we go again with Noel starting the 'first male quarter millionaire' spiel again!

I wish a male would win it just so Noel can shut up.

Again, the £18,500 wasn't out of line with recent offers at 8-box relative to the benchmark or FD, so the Banker isn't lowballing just to get the game to the twist as we used to see.

1p has been found :D

The best choice is to go with a chance to open one box at a time.
