Good offer but a strong board to walk away from.

Sarah says it's so much money. Sarah's partner says it's good money, but she has a good board. Ryan says Sarah has seven boxes she can afford to miss, and the offer will go up provided she keeps the top two.

Sarah says:

NO DEAL

Round 4

Noel wishes Sarah would be more confident in her system!

Box 21 with Lloyd - £250,000 :(

Box 20 with Steve - £50

Sarah tries to work out where a blue is using her system.

Box 18 with Mark - £100,000  :(

Banker time...

Oh dear me, says Noel. He says we are in an era where the £250,000 and the £100,000 seem to be attached to each other. The Banker considers that to be Sarah's Christmas present for him; Sarah asks for one back!

Banker's offer:

£5,000 + a pair of socks!

That's a crash from £20,000, says Noel. Sarah's partner says it was a horrible round, but advises another round. Sarah goes for advice, and Lisa says Sarah would be advising a no deal on the wings.

Sarah says:

NO DEAL

Noel says it's hard to call where this is going.

Noel calls a break...

We see a trailer for the Big Christmas Dinner specials, which begin on Monday.

Well, I guess I'll be heading over to Wilson Yard to fire up the ol' Loser Train. Dispatch called me in to do it.

First time I've seen the trailer for the 'Big Christmas Dinner'. Looks terrible.

Now, what they should do during that week to retain interest levels, is at the start of each game have a quick '50/50' game and have two boxes which contain 'Turkey' or 'Brussel Sprout'. If the contestant picks the Turkey - Noel Edmonds pisses off for the rest of the show. If you pick the Brussel Sprout, he stays and milks this monstrous show for all it's worth as per usual.

And to really make the games as airable as possible, both the boxes will contain the Turkey.

Never really liked the holiday twists myself. They involve too much mucking about with the format, and as psychokiller pointed out, lots of inane stupidity from Edmonds.

We're back...

Round 5

Box 1 with Lisa - £10

Noel says anything north of £5,000 would be fine.

Box 8 with Gary - £5,000

Noel says that's fine provided this is a blue.

Box 7 with Ria - £10,000

Banker time...

Noel says this will be frightening. The Banker says the 1p is remaining for the second game in a row, but Sarah is very determined.

Banker's offer:

£8,000

The Banker wants Sarah to have a difficult decision. Ryan says the board is the same as Harrison's. Sarah's partner says she only has to keep one of the reds to get a good offer.

Sarah says:

NO DEAL

Honestly, I might've taken the third-round offer of £20,000. Seemed generous at the time, despite the presence of several larger amounts. I'm cautious to a fault. I rarely gamble, but I have a good idea about risks and rewards, despite being useless with math and statistics.

Round 6

Box 19 with Joyce - 1p :D

Hopefully, that was not a false celebration, says Noel.

Box 9 with newbie Mike - £250 :D

You will at least have one of the Power 5 left, says Noel. Is it conceivable that you can have an all-blue round at the perfect moment, he says.

Box 22 with Billy - £5  :D :-D

Banker time with £35,000 and £50,000 remaining. :D

Me and Mad Mark will now hang our heads in shame for our negativity at 8-box.

Loudest cheer I've let out in a long time when that fiver went !

Huge cheers everywhere. Everyone is shocked, Sarah in particular. Sarah needs a sit down. Noel is so pleased that happened.

Banker's offer:

£42,000
