I actually cheered that deal. Was beginning to worry Noel's spiel was going to make her go on.

Lets hope for a favourable proveout.

*like longshore drift

Swash? Backwash? No?

Anyway. Maverick commentary. Perfect. Right up my alley.

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Not enough time on the clock for filler, it'll be a crash of epic proportions.

Tony (Box 9) - £35,000

Gary (Box 16) - £10,000

Nightmare round at the best possible time ?

Lloyd (Box 2) - £5,000

Almost.

That should keep Noel quiet for a couple of days.

Offer would've been £99.50

Box 11 has a blue. Don't really care what it was. £500 I think.

The other box reveals the other blue to complete the game. Was it £10 ?

Enjoy the money Jean :D

Not a big money game, but good to see a Banker Spanking after the unfortunate games of recent times. Well done Jean! :smt023

£5,500 at 8-box was the only good offer and it's a good thing she took it. :D

Why do I never miss watching Deal? It's to see people like Jean - she was so enthusiastic that the show was so watchable no matter what the result. Jean - you're a national treasure!

Not seen the game yet so don't know who opened the box, but who is "Krusty The Clown"? I couldn't stop laughing when I saw that. ;-)

Kristy. Jean called her "Kirsty", then Noel called her "Krusty". One of those ongoing jokes that are made up about the contestants during their time on the wings. :P

A collector’s item here.

A very good one at that; perfect timing, and unlike Hannah yesterday, here we have a fine example of how best to utilise a (damn generous) stick.

Speaking of sticks, that second £5,500 was extremely good for the circumstances.

I would probably never deal at 8-box myself (dependant on my situation), but today I’d have been shown up big time.

The luck of the proveout was with Jean here...so I call today’s game both an execution of perfect timing, and a game of great fortune when it was really needed.

Perfectly sensible deal and the luck not to keep a red to the end to deny her the OPW.

Good start to the week

A low stakes game but a real feel good show, thanks to Jean's enthusiasm.
Sensible deal for the board and for once the decision was vindicated, something we haven't seen in the last few games.

Too early to say the tide is turning but fingers crossed for a good week
