I think that's just enough. Not far off two-thirds of the mean, and it's not quite as stable as it looks because the 5:1 ratio of £50k to £250k isn't reflected that well visually.

She probably deal £30,000 but the board is good enough for damage limitation if you go on.

Teresa is stunned by that. She tells herself to think smart, and says she needs to calm down. Teresa's partner says that's what they came for, suggesting there is a target. Teresa says he's seen so many people lose because they focus on the big numbers, and she could still have 50p in her box.

She needs some help. Russ says she'll get an amazing offer if she hits the three lowest, but the offer will drop hugely if she hits the top three. Teresa calls a sweep on what the other players would do, and only Chan would no deal. Ben says Teresa won't get an offer like that again if she hits the £250,000. Jake and Deepa give some advice as well. Noel lets Teresa sit down quietly for a minute before she answers the question.

Teresa says:

DEAL

Round 5 - proveout

Teresa says she's not going to cry. Noel reminds us of the recent period where the £250,000 kept coming to the table, but no-one won it. She then says we could have a second Spanking in a row! He also says he doesn't want a repeat of Win's game.

Box 14 with Franca - £35,000

Box 6 with David - £5,000

One more shot at it, says Noel.

Box 12 with Deepa - £10,000

Banker time...

Guessing he would've offered around £50,000.

Well this offer will be greater... even though the £35,000 went... and two reds...

That swung the Banker's way, says Noel. The Banker says he doesn't regret offering £30,000, and he doesn't blame Teresa for dealing.

Banker's offer would've been:

£45,000

By the rules of yesterday it could still be a second 'spanking' in a row :P

The Banker revives the Corinne motif. Crikey.

Round 6 - proveout

The Banker says he got lucky there.

Box 10 with Kirsti - £50,000

Box 2 with Marc - £20,000

Teresa thought that was it!

The Banker calls and says the final offer will either be 88p or £88,000.

Box 4 with Donna - £250,000 :D

Banker time with 50p and £10 remaining.

Teresa sighs a huge sigh of relief. Noel says it's not a Spanking technically.

Banker's offer would've been:

88p

So it's one rule for Charlie and another for Teresa.

Idiocy.

Box 19 with Chan contains the 50p.

Noel says somehow you can live with missing out on £45,000 when the game collapses afterwards. Teresa says there will definitely be a wedding now, even if she has to drag her fiance down the aisle in chains!

So the Banker hates Geordies now? Well he better stay away from MTV (not that I watch that)!

88p? Surely a bit deflated there! :P
