Round 3

Teresa talks about how she got a ring out of a Christmas cracker, and that led to her getting proposed too.

Box 15 with Hardik - £250

That'll keep the Banker worried, says Noel.

Box 13 with Hazel - £750

Noel says a low blue would be great.

Teresa picks Zeny next, but Noel calls a break first...

That's a great shame, says Noel. The Banker will take that as a sign of relief and opportunity, he says. The Banker says he finds Teresa scary, as she's been a positive board reader, and smart players rarely win a blue.

Banker's offer:

£15,000

9 adverts? Come on Channel 4, that's just EXCESSIVE!

Anyway, back to the game. A stick there is very generous having just taken out the £100k.

There's enough of a backup for me to play on here. It's dealable though with the gap to the £50k.

Marc is right to point out that she'd probably have to chase a £50k-high board though. I don't know if the Banker would provide a decent bailout, although it'd be a very stable board if she kept the block of three intact but lost the £250k.

Well we all know she isn't a good board reader.

Incredibly, he's stuck, says Noel. Hazel says the Banker has great respect for Teresa. Teresa says she didn't come with huge expectations for various reasons. Teresa's fiance says, if she hits the £250,000, she'll have to go all the way to get that sort of offer again. Donna offers some advice about Geordies, and then some more relevant advice about the board. Marc offers some advice about what'll happen if she hits any of the big sums.

Teresa says:

NO DEAL

If this is an blue round... offer should be around £20,000 - £25,000.

Round 4

Noel talks about how Teresa has fish in her bedroom! Teresa blames her partner for wanting pirahnas, which means they needed a bigger tank! She says some people visit her just to see the fish tank!

Box 5 with Charlotte - 10p

Teresa tells herself to stay calm.

Box 20 with Mike - £50

Can she do an all-blue round, says Noel. He says that would be really sensational.

Teresa picks Box 8, but then realizes she doesn't like that number, as it's had a big sum every time she's looked at it on the wings. She chooses it anyway.

Noel calls a break first...

Nice mocking of Noel here.

I'd call a break at 9-box here... yup, they do.

I think 8 has the £250k given this editing emphasis.

Signs you know a break is coming:

1. The camera goes to a certain angle.
2. Noel starts waffling.
3. Noel starts a sentence with "Please open box X..."

I hate predictable breaks!

Advert 1: Sliderobes. The one with the expecting couple, and the husband looking tired!

Advert 2: Aw, snowmen in love. John Lewis, that's for, apparently.

Advert 3: Sherlock Holmes is ill. Some kind of flu tablets.

Advert 4: Some new Sony camera that is more detailed than before.

Advert 5: Curries and PC World. Have they merged, or something?

Advert 6: Ah, the chap mistaking Gordon Ramsay's kitchen for a sauna! Mr Ramsay is not impressed!

Advert 7: Some wierd advert featuring a jumper. That's for British Airways, apparently.

This is why I have a system.

Ironically box 8 is first to go on it... oh boy. That worked.

£30k?

Currys and PC World were owned by the same parent company for years. They just merged the brands this year.

Honestly, the timing on that is perfect, says Noel. That is such a good 8-box, he says. Teresa says it's time to get serious now.

Banker's offer:

£30,000

Very very good offer!

She probably will most likely will deal here... but still a very strong board...
