Banker's offer would've been:

£40

There we go.

Box 16 had £100, Box 18 with Charlotte had the £10.

"That's a relief." Charlie's delighted with the result, and a little surprised. Gone all quiet, he has. Not a bad reaction for an average-money TPW, eh?

Good game. Shame the £250,000 didn't go one round earlier, but still a decent result, much needed after recent games.

Best game in about 17 weeks. We needed this. No more depressing stuff. No blues today. Thank God. Charlie is a hero.

And thank you to KP for covering today's show. :smt023

Now that is a game we needed! :D Yeah, it's not a spanking but still a great result. I don't think Charlie cares about the additional £6,500 (though the £20,000 offer is a complete lie!).

Nah, I wouldn't say that the £20,000 is a lie. Pretty realistic considering he'd have had to turn down £13,500 again to get there.

Anyway, good to see a show of broadcastable quality again. Well done Charlie ! :D

You're right. I think I remember the Banker offering the Governor for a board like that before.

What? Seriously? Someone sold their box for a profit? I was beginning to think people were being prevented in doing that. :)

If I ever were to do a show commentary, it would be like this one. Nice work, KP. I especially loved the commentary on the commercials :).

Even Mad Mark can't argue we needed this win!

Much needed, not perfect, but justifiable either way. :)

The last of 6 shows I'd seen live (from Mev's game onwards) so relief to travel back from Bristol having seen at least one person make the right decision.

A bit of everything today - another of Chan's tales (I'm really looking forward to his game - although other might not be), some weird fashion-related antics and a sensible 8-box deal.

There was some banter cut out before Hardik opened his box at the beginning of the show regarding the 1p kiss (but that's not a bad thing really)

Was that advert the caffeine one?

I was originally interested but it failed to tell me the answer to my key question:

Why would you put caffeine into shampoo?

I was interested in the answer to this and they never told me.

P.S. I also wear odd coloured socks. The socks must be the same style, but the colours must be different.

Dissappointing in that it wasn't a spanking but it's a relief to see a player's decision vindicated for once. The luck - and at the end of the day it is luck no matter what some people might say - has been too much on the Banker's side of late

Hopefully it's swinging back in favour of the players now though one swallow does not a summer make. Still a good result, a 5 figure winner and Charlie avoided the all blue finish. I'm happy
