Billy's game today.

Noel says we're still talking about Esher's game yesterday. He talks about how she had huge self-belief, but it ended up costing her a lot of money. He says Esher is now the holder of the 'How Wrong Can You Get This Game' trophy.

Billy has Box 16 today.

Billy Crowder is from Essex, and is a school sports coach. He originally wanted to be a professional footballer, but quit that when he severely hurt his arm during a match. He has a photo of his family, and his girlfriend is in the audience for support.

Here we go...

Billy has been hit hard by losing big money; Noel says he might need to give Billy a bit of coaching. The Banker says Billy is a game of big decisions, and bad luck is hard to take. He says he's going to give Billy a difficult decision now.

Banker's offer:

£8,000

That is a very clever offer, says Billy. Noel tells Billy to play what he sees; Billy says he sees more blues than reds. Noel says the clever player would interpret that as meaning there's a blue in the box. Billy's girlfriend gets emotional, and says it would be really daring for Billy to play on here. Billy says, if he hits the £100,000, he won't see £8,000 again unless he goes all the way. Caerwyn says the tide might have turned. Billy says he's had a blue in every game except Josh's.

The Banker says it might help Billy to know what the next offer will be if he has an all-blue round.

Noel calls a break before we find out...

I reckon the offer would simply be double if he achieved the 18% all blue round. Probably £14,000 to get him as cheap as possible without the offer being insulting.

He shouldn't be basing his decison on what he had in previous games, but at least he was only worried about removing the £100,000 (37.5%), rather than all three reds (1.7%).
