Edd's game today.

Noel says it's hard to play the game without being influenced by the game before. He says Gael may have been hugely influenced by Scott's game.

Edd has Box 18 today.

Edward Rogers is a firefighter from Alvechurch in Worcestershire. He runs through his career. His partner is in the audience. He has a photo of him with some colleagues.

Noel says Edd has given some exceptional advice on the wings.

Here we go...

Hopefully Gael's game has cancelled out any influence of Scott's game on this game and future games.

Why? You should respect what the players do... Scott wanted to go for it... as he may never get a chance to win £50,000 ever again.

Gael had no choice as her game was going either one way or another, sadly it was all downhill...no offers were decent enough to deal at.

You don't respect it when players make a sensible deal and they happened to have more in their box, so you really cannot tell me about respect.

I for one don't want the negative influences from Scott's game to remain for further games, and I am sure most people would agree with me there, but not you of course. Neither would Scott ever get the chance to take £22K home ever again, and he declined that by a reckless no deal.

That is not true about Gael though, the offers were certainly dealable given the state of the board. She was probably just too influenced by Scott's game and it caused her downfall, but that be the end of that.

We're back...

Noel says a piece of confetti fell during the break, and it could be a sign!

Final box before the Banker...

Box 15 with Mave - £75,000

Banker time...

That is a shame, says Noel. The Banker says Mave has had a lot of big numbers lately. He says it's a tough board for a realist like Edd, as it's tough to work out what the maximum will be on a board like this.

Banker's offer:

£10,000

Edd says some players says what they will do before the game in order to get better offers from the Banker; he says maybe his honesty means the Banker sees him as a dealer. He says the rewards are big, but the strategy and tactics are smaller.

Edd says:

NO DEAL

Round 4

Box 20 with Viv - £100

Box 11 with Angela - £1

You are on the edge of strengthening the game significantly, says Noel.

Box 8 with Julia - 1p :D

Banker time...

This offer will get him thinking... should be somewhere near the £20,000 mark.

Edd picks Julia up over his shoulder before giving her the 1p kiss! The Banker says that was a highly irritating round. He says luck trumps everything else in this game. Edd talks to the Banker, and talks stats with him, negotiating an offer. He estimates an offer £18,250. The Banker says being honest isn't a weakness. The offer is Edd's estimate.

Banker's offer:

£18,250

That is interesting, as you valued it at that, says Noel. Edd says you can see why the Banker's been kept on after just over 2,000 shows! He says the offer is a year's wages for him, and it would be the best possible way for him and his partner to start a family.

Noel says two things make this fascinating: Edd made a realistic estimate that the Banker accepted, and the way Edd talked about what he wanted to do with the money. Edd asks if it's worth going on, and trying to keep hold of the £250,000. The wingers offer some advice.

The Banker calls, and says he might quit if Edd turns down his own offer!

Edd says:

DEAL
