The Banker says it's been impressive that Phil has turned down some very decent money on a one box game.

Banker's offer:

£11,500

Noel suggests Phil's wife should try to get the offer up to £12,000! She says the song that comes to mind now is 'It's a long way top Tipperary'! Phil asks for a show of hands on who would do what, and it is mixed. The Banker says he's amazed that so many people would no deal. He says he's changing the offer.

Noel calls a break before he reveals the new offer...

That's unprecidented, says Noel. Phil says that requires a lot of consideration. Some of the wingers offer advice. Phil's wife says, although the board appears to be in Phil's favour, it is rather fragile. Phil says this is the toughest thing he's had to do. Phil's wife says she'll always be behind him, no matter what he does.

Phil says:

DEAL

Round 5 - proveout

Phil says he couldn't find the courage. Noel says the worst thing you can do is go away with a lifetime's regret.

Box 1 with Ady - £5,000

Box 10 with newbie Mike - £10

All on this, says Noel.

Box 14 with Angela - £100,000 :D

Banker time...

Tough luck Banker, says Noel. The Banker says he's not happy, as everyone made him pay out more money!

Banker's offer would've been:

£4,000

I really hope £20,000 isn't on the table, says Noel.

Noel reveals £250 in Phil's Box 17.

Box 8 with Calvert contains the 50p.

Phil says he's overwhelmed, and he can do loads of things with £13,000. :D Noel says he enjoyed every moment of that game.

Phil's game very quickly became a one boxer, it was a question of holding his nerve long enough to get a decent offer. Phil ended up timing it perfectly, but some credit there has to go to the audience who somehow persuaded the Banker to up an already respectable offer

And Mandy's second box opening is a moment that will go dsown in infamy. :-D
