Carole's game today.

Noel wonders if there are any circumstances under which we'd feel sorry for the Banker; he says he is trying all sorts of things at the moment, but people have been dealing at the right time recently. Noel says he feels sorry for the Banker at the moment.

Carole has Box 18 today.

Carole Green is from Conwy in Wales, and is a tour guide at the Smallest House in Britain; she has a picture of it, and she talks a bit about the tour, which costs £1. She also has a model bus with her, and her son is in the audience. Noel says the bus is a routemaster, which he talks a bit about the history of. Some distracting noises are played during his speach! Carole also has a picture of her family.

Here we go...

What a weird opening round that is, says Noel. The Banker says it is hard to tell which way this will go.

Banker's offer:

£5,000

Carole says that would do so much for her; Noel runs through what else she wants to do with her winnings, including buying a Morris Minor. Noel talks about the history of the Morris Minor, and recommends which one Carole should buy! Carole says it's a generous offer for what she did.

Carole says:

NO DEAL

Carole says that is a generous offer. She asks her son for advice, and he advises her to go on.

Carole says:

Why only £9k? An all-blue round should've doubled that!

That is a very nervy board, says Noel. The Banker says the problem is, if the £250,000 goes, there is a big drop back to £50,000.

Banker's offer:

£7,800

Carole says it's an amazing off for that board. Noel says, if Carole goes on, she needs to avoid the £250,000. Carole gets some advice from the wings. She says it is a precarious board, and she is not being lured by the £250,000. Theo says the next three boxes have all been big for the last few games. Carole says it's an incredible amount of money.

Carole says:

DEAL

Carole says she knows she's gone early, but she thinks it's right. Noel says the Banker put a lot of thought into coming up with that offer; the Banker calls, and says he wasn't playing mind games when he made the offer. He says he was going to offer £8,000, but he dropped it because £8,000 is the least he's paid for a £250,000 box, and he was giving himself the opportunity of his biggest ever victory.

Noel calls a break before the proveout...

A bit on the cautious side there. The offer wasn't as bad as you might think though. But it's still not enough for me. I'd be wanting about £13,000 I think.

Why would you deal SO EARLY with the £250,000 still there?! Especially as it's £200 under the lowest the Banker has paid for it.
