Li Ping's game today.

Noel says he loved Wayne's game, because Wayne was so competitive, and ended up negotiating with the Banker. He ended up dealing, missing out on more money, and then admitted the Banker had beaten him.

Well I think we all know what colour box Li Ping had yesterday (and every day she's been here bar one)

Li Ping has Box 3 today.

Li Ping James is a trainee teacher from Walton in Essex, but is originally from China. Her partner is in the audience, and he talks of how he met Li Ping on an around-the-world trip after his first wife died. Noel says Li Ping has a habit of switching from English to Chineese midway through a sentence. She has a picture of her family, and a teddy bear with 'Best Mum' on the front, belonging to her daughter, with her.

Noel reminds us that Li Ping has only ever had one blue on the wings!

Here we go...

Round 1

Li Ping runs through the boxes she is saving. She is picking prime numbers first.

Box 7 with Helen - 1p :D

Box 5 with Tash - £250,000 :(

Box 19 with Claire - £100,000  :(

Box 2 with Stine - £10,000

Box 4 with Jodi - £35,000

Banker time...

She's very good at picking reds but doing it at the start of her game isn't advisable

Why does it have to happen to Li Ping?

At least she's taking it well. this looks to be a very fun game.

What a start, says Noel! That penny was leading us into a trap, he says. The Banker says that was the worst ever opening round to include the penny. He says Li Ping will be getting 'prime offers'.

Banker's offer:

£883

Just had a bit of a problem with the browser earlier.

What a horrible way to start! :(

Unless you include the 2 opening rounds that were worse....

Alan: 14 Jan 2006. Opening round was £35k/£250k/£50k/£75k/1p
Lisa: Sept 2007 1p/£100k/£20k/£250k/£75k

(courtesy of Mister Al on Twitter and his stats thread on here)

We're back...

Round 2

Noel says that, at Li Ping's interview, she was asked 'how tall is Mr Edmonds?', and she replied 'who's that?'!

Box 10 with James - £15,000

Box 20 with Dave - £50,000

What on Earth, says Noel, this is horrible.

Box 14 with Lee - £20,000

Banker time...

You just could not contemplate a game like this, says Noel. It's just uncanny after your record on the wings, he says. The Banker says Li Ping revealed just under £1,000,000 on the wings.

Banker's offer:

£499

Only the £75k left and it's not even the third round yet.
