Round 6

4 - Dave - £10

11 - Maryian - £5

Noel says this would be the 4th banker spanking in a row if Gaz won £10k.

22 - Mary - £750

Banker time with £5,000 and £10,000 remaining...

YES! With a GUARANTEED £5,000.... no point in dealing this offer.

HOPEFULLY the fourth spanking in a row!

I bet Noel doesn't remember that £100k Gaz had an all blue-round at the same point to leave an all-red finish

I'd definitely no-deal anything less than the mean here. I think with £5k guaranteed it's an easy decision - to go for the OPW. :)

Noel's right. This is a decision that only the player can make and neither decision is really wrong here.

Anyone know the record for consecutive banker spankings?

Mister Al does and confirmed on Twitter that this equals the record from April 2009 of 4 consecutive OPWs.

Not any rash decisions made due to the way the boxes opened.

Excellent result. I love when there's a final two of two respectable sums.

Tuned in during the third round to hear Noel blathering on about how Gaz was going to be the second Gaz to win £100k. Almost wanted it to be found after that to shut Noel up (plus it would've looked rather suspect if he'd had the £100k all along).

£9,500 was a generous offer at 11-box and I wouldn't have resented Gaz taking it, considering he'd need at least two good rounds for a much higher offer, plus after explaining his circumstances, it would have been awful to see him crash to a blue.

While watching the show I noticed there was a DVD of the film 10,000 BC next to the TV, spooky premonition that turned out to be  Overall though, Gaz definitely deserved that £10k - he remained calm when things were going wrong and was respectful towards the offers, even when they weren't very high. I'm sure he's a great dad anyway but it's great that £10k is going to help his family situation too! :smt023

Note that Oli and Gaz won the exact same amount of money, yet Gaz's game has gone down way better. I wonder why? ;)

That was a fantastic result ! Well done Gaz and enjoy the money ! :D

The highlight from this thread ? Mark stating that Gaz would have been cautious to have dealt the £4,000... then calling the subsequent No Deal brave after the £75,000 was opened !

Because Oli blew the chances of getting more money...

AND for Gaz it's a spanking.

No point in me going on anymore.

The previous four games have been excellent. (apart from you know who).
