Looked like he was going to deal... but thankfully he didn't.... hope that was the correct thing to do.

We're back...

Round 5

Noel reminds us that Gary is not playing for himself.

Box 3 with Gaz - £5

Box 18 with Selen - £500

Nearly there, says Noel.

Box 21 with Damien - £50

Banker time...

The way he was thinking about the last two offers, he will probably take this.

The offer will improve now, says Noel. The Banker says there is one thing in his favour: Gary is gambling with other people's lives, not his own!

Banker's offer:

£5,000

Hopefully he'll go on, although 5k is a fair offer if a little low

Very good offer for that board, says Gary. Well pitched, isn't it, says Noel.

Gary says:

DEAL

The Banker cries loudly down the phone!

Banker's offer would've been:

£2.50

Box 8 with Darren contains the 50p.

Only a smidge away from a Spanking, says Noel.

Is it just me or has it been absolutely ages since the QM came to the table?

A good antidote game to yesterday. Gary had a good attitude to the game and stayed calm when the boxes were cruel to him. I was half-expecting one box at a time at 5-box (although a glance at my watch put paid to that idea!), thankfully that didn't happen as, like with Olivia, it just would have killed the game at a slower pace.

Have to say, the banker's charity-hating stance seems a bit hollow to me now after the celebs playing for charity got much stronger offers than 90% of the people playing for themselves! :ponder: :laughing

It may be statistically poor, but a lot of pther players probably wouldn't even get a four-figure offer on that board!

Well, I must say...good to see a win but if I'm honest, he was VERY lucky that game collapsed after the deal.
