Even without the extra offers, you'd still have had the worst round possible, says Noel.

Banker's offer:

69p

Box 8 with Mary contains the £1.

Noel reveals that Olivia's brother-in-law predicted Olivia would win £24,800. Noel says it just wasn't Olivia's day today.

Never would I have imagined that bizarre opening offer would be the peak of the game.

After the £250k was found at the end of the first round, it was bad luck until the end. I got the impression Olivia regretted turning down those offers more than she perhaps should have done - it was one of those games where the player ends up holding out for a break that never arrives. :|

She's the third Olivia to bring pence to the table - there was one that won a penny in July 2009 and last March we had Olivia "the banker's moll" who had loads of high numbers while on the wings then only had 50p for her game! She managed to sell her box for a lot more though, shame this one didn't get to.

EDIT: Just seen your comment, Jerry. That means all Olivias have brought a total of £1.01 to the table!

Another game where the player really didn't do anything wrong but pick the wrong boxes.

The sticky period goes on. Most games lately have been mediocre at best, and it feels like forever ago since the last time someone won something significant (Was Bill the last person to win more than 20k?! - his game feels like ages ago now!)

Hope we can turn this around soon

Two of whom would have had to take very risky, and statistically unwise gambles to win a big sum.

I don't think Mark knows the meaning of Risky and Statistically unwise :D

More bad luck, Olivia just couldn't pick the right boxes. With hindsight the 8 box offer was probably worth taking but that was an almost unavoidable train wreck

And a little cruel that she should go away with the same sum Jay avoided yesterday
