By the way, Deal-Eye would have gone at 14-box...

The banker says he plays the guitar, and he talks to David about having a Hummingbird guitar. David says his uncle gave him one when he was 16, and his mum fell on it and broke it!

Banker's offer:

£10,000

Oh, it would take this, too. But by less than £350...

Gone at 14 box? Don't think so somehow...

Hopefully this won't be another third round deal.

David talks about how his game has turned around since the start. Damien says David will get a good offer after a good round, but should still get a respectable offer after a bad round. David says the chances are he'll hit at least 1 red in the next round. He says that despite what the odds and percentages might say, things can happen.

David says

NO DEAL

OH, YOU'RE KIDDING!!!!!!!!!

Only going up from £7k to £10k after an all-blue round is NOT good - even with three of the top 4 gone... :x :x :? :? :eyes: :eyes:

As soon as that £100,000 went, I bet he was gutted that it wasn't his game yesterday as it possibly could have been up for grabs.

But there is still big reds still in play.

Things can happen. Things will happen. But who will benefit?

Would just about play on here myself. A four-figure escape seems certain at some point, so much easier to chase a £20k+ offer (assuming the generosity keeps on cranking up, thus making chase-the-box questionable).

Round 4

14 - Carl - £100,000

Noel says that's atrocious bad luck.

20 - Chris - £15,000

Noel says that disrupts the block of reds.

17 - Kirsty - £5,000

Banker time

Well, it's the Banker who benefits from that. Probably chasing this one to the end now, I fancy.

That offer is just below Deal-Eye's benchmark, which is £5,277.88. No offer has been more than 6.5% away from the benchmark in either direction since 14-box.

David says he just wants enough money to be on an even keel, and fulfill some ambitions. He says he's not sure whether to go on one more round or take the consolation figure, and his partner says she doesn't know what she'd do and that it's down to him.

David says

DEAL

Well, there's always a chance of a blue and £35,000 climax, so chance of the bankers gamble..

Well, that's just great, isn't it? :x :eyes:

Another defeatist deal - and on a big scale, too. :x :x :? :? :eyes: :eyes:

But, quite remarkably, it's very good news for Deal-Eye... ;) ;) ;)
