Laura says she really needs to think about his, and then goes to Damien for some advice. Laura says she isn't going to let herself go away from this game without taking some money with her. The Banker says that is a sensible comment from Laura, and there is only one way she can be sure of making that happen, and to try and convince her that it is a good idea to take the offer he send out an olive branch, and someone brings out one of Laura's shoes that she wanted.

Laura says

Noel says he thinks that Laura is still in a really good position. The Banker calls and says he is not certain what to offer, and then asks to speak to Laura, he asks her what she thinks he should offer, Laura asks for a bit of time. Noel goes through the previous offers with Laura and thinks she needs to pitch a good offer here so the Banker takes her seriously. The Banker calls and says he has written a maximum amount he is prepared to offer, but if Laura says an amount above that then he won't give Laura an offer. Laura gets advice from the wings about the potential offer. Laura says £18,000. Noel opens the piece of paper and reveals the Banker's amount of £18,750.

Banker's offer:

£18,000

Good offer, but hopefully someone will tell her that there is another round in there with just TWO blues... and three above the offer, including a very good fallback.

I feel that's a BIG mistake...

She clearly couldn't see there was another round in it.

I was also thinking about £18,000. I'm surprised the banker didn't put £19,999, in order to catch her out if she said £20,000!

Anyway, I do NOT like what I have just read as regards that fourth offer...

And I think that has to go down as yet another cautious deal. :eyes:

It does mean, though, that we still haven't had a contestant named Laura who's won less than £10k... :shock:

Hopefully with just ONE blue there and four reds at five box she would have continued.

If this is the £26,000 hopefully it wouldn't have worked......
