OI... thats my job!

OH DEAR... OH DEAR... OH DEAR...

Should have been a LOT more brave.

£11,000 was a VERY poor offer. Someone should have reminded her what she had yesterday then she probably would have been thinking, could it be two games in a row where I've had a power five.

Good attitude to the last despite the shame that the £50k could have been hers. Cheers, Renee. Beautiful and sensible. All the best xx

Oh dear. Classic dilemma: you know it's a bad offer, but do you want to risk winning a blue because of it?

11k may have been a bad offer, but perfectly acceptable for those who didn't want to risk winning a blue.

And she shouldn't have thought, "I just can't go with 10..." :eyes: :eyes: ;)

Otherwise she'd have had a £3k/£50k finish - and the chances of her gambling then would surely have been greater. :eyes: :eyes: ;) ;)

Is'nt it funny how when the banker makes those clever remarks it always persuades players to deal.

I so wish she'd open number 10 earlier on as well.

Remember this date because for once I agree with Mark... it probably was worth the gamble today at £11k (that's just slightly lower than my tipping point on the finish) but I can see why she took it.

It's just a shame we didn't get the hypo-swap for a positive spin to the ending of the game.

A very winnable £50k, but on all-or-peanuts finishes it's not a surprise to see that sort of decision - make that a £50/£250k decision and it's the equivalent of a £55k offer, which maybe a majority would Deal. Of course, utility doesn't work like that, which is why most would go on at £11k (here, at least), but there will be many decisions far more questionable than this one for the rest of the year.

And she won more than I would have done opening the boxes in the same order. ;)

Well given she'd been there for 25 shows I was convinced Renee had a blue in her box (See previous posts - ref Lucy's Law). Think that £11k might just have been low enough an offer for most players - even cautious old me - to take that final gamble, but it shows how perfectly the Banker can sometimes read the players. It was perfected pitched towards Renee.

I certainly don't blame Renee for dealing but i wouldn't have blamed her for not dealing either, it was that sort of game where the clear cut answers can only come with hindsight.

and although the hyposwap wasn't technically offered I think we can safely infer from what was said post deal that it wouldn't have been accepted if it had been
