Clare's game today.

Noel talks about the DOND pantomime specials next week, and that the Banker has casted the wingers in various roles. Among them, Adam is his Dick!

The longest runner is playing for the last normal game of 2011. She had a box with an amount on Friday.

Clare has Box 18.

Clare Weden is a software operator from Kent. She explains what she does for the company. She shows some photos of her family, among them, one of her niece and her late nanny. She also has a neckless her that her nanny gave her. She has her partner in the audience, and they talk about how they met.

Here we go...

Box 11 with Charlton - £20,000

Box 8 with Ioannis - £10,000

Box 17 with Elaine - £15,000

Banker's supposed ideal opening round. What is leaves is a game where a box is now either very good or very bad with no middle ground.

The Banker can't wait for the panto specials next week, as the players will have more ways to win than ever, apparantly. He says a genie will grant them wishes; Noel wonders who it will be. :ponder:  The Banker thinks Clare's dad smells like biscuits, because he's Gary Baldie!

Banker's offer:

£9,000

That's about as interesting an opening round as I've seen all year. Could be a fascinating decision as early as 11-box today (especially as this is the last game of the year where we're even going to be allowed an 8-box Deal).

We're back...

Noel says that Clare's colleagues don't know she's on the show! They do know she's filming something, though.

Round 2

Box 13 with Emma - £3,000

Box 6 with Lawrence - £250

Peter next, and Noel says he's welcome to come back to the hotel, and stop living in a cardboard box down at the station!

Box 15 with Peter - £50

Banker time...

Keeping the entire Power 5 to 14-box is great even when you've taken out the next five.

Clare says she'd like to buy her partner a new set of teeth, as he got hit by a swing at age 11. Noel says all he wants for Christmas is his two front teeth! The Banker says Clare could donate, as she'd still look pretty, and shows pictures on the gameboard of Clare, Noel and Mr Blobby without their two front teeth!

Banker's offer:

£14,000

9 disposable boxes out of 14. Rudimentary statistics say 2 blues, 1 red would be average round next.

Noel says Clare would like to go storm-chasing in America. Clare says she'd like to play a bit more.

Clare says:

NO DEAL

I'd actually have almost accepted a 14-box Deal there given the unpredictability of future offers once the big numbers get picked off.

Round 3

Box 12 with Sarah - £5

Box 20 with Baz - £250,000 :(

Oh dear, says Noel. You need the 10p now.

Noel calls a break, and Clare says that the viewers would have nothing better to do on a Sunday...

Lawrence and Shakira give us a trailer for the Panto specials, which start tomorrow...

That should make sure that she'll be forced on to 8-box. Key thing is to get there with a three-box game, not a two-box game.

Ouch. Just proves that the "low reds good in first round" theory is rubbish when you take out big reds afterwards.
