Oh and Mark - another friendly suggestion. ;)

As Claudio looked like a thoroughly nice chap, I don't think "blown" would have been the right word to describe him missing out on £50k - unless, of course, he did a really poor deal.

How about alternatives like "scuppered" or, as Noel uses so much, "squandered"? ;)

I wish we had been able to play out an interesting game like that, RMF - there was effectively no game today with the way the boxes went.

Notice how Noel says 39th 1p member proving that these shows were filmed before the live ones.

So the word of the forum members who saw these games filmed in March/April 2011 (including myself) isn't good enough.

:D

I appreciate this was not a big money game, but I just wasn't enthused by the player or the way the game played out today. Hardly said much on the wings, not exactly chatty today.

And getting a little bit annoyed at people continually being thrown out.

An entirely forgettable show.

Yeah, I skimmed through this on 4OD. Missed it due to F1.
I can't believe Noel has thrown out yet another person. Can they please do something else now? This is getting very irritating.

I always think the person being thrown out should offer some resistance. What are they going to do if they say "no" to Noel? Get security in or something? :)

Sundays seem to belong to the Banker at the moment. That was yet another unavoidable trainwreck though the newbie looks interesting at least

And the last three contestants have all come from the corner spots on the wings! Co-incidence? Or Conspiracy? :-D

Would have been all the way to the end for me too, hard to avoid that one.

I won't even raise the subject of the conspiracy theory again re: player picked just a day after holding a big power 5 number and going home with a blue :-D

I'd have loved to witnessed the groans of the audience and Noel furtively looking around to try and get a shred of good news during the gameplay. The banker didn't really even need to make an effort to play.

Unavoidable, that one. I'd definitely have ended up with the £50 as well.

It was a pity that Claudio seemed to suffer a bit from nerves in front of the camera - I got the impression that he was probably more outgoing with the wings back in the hotel (and possibly at the interview). I'd been looking forward to his game. Not that I can blame - I'm sure I'd be the same. However, good on his son who did pretty well.
