No BG?

Well, we now know that even if it had been offered, she wouldn't have taken it... ;)

The BG would have been too generous for that final two; too close to the average.

Plus, we've had that finish at least twice this year, and the Banker has offered low on both occasions.

So if it the Banker calling back didn't sway her decision at 8-box, then her not wanting to go on the barge did?!?  :?

The fear of winning a blue is greater than many would realise.

I guess if you are going to open your box anyway whatever the banker says, you don't have to listen to the fact that the banker clearly stated there was a 64% chance the offer wouldn't go up.

It's actually a shame that the last offer was so low because if it had been around £6k, then the chances of her actually winning £15k would have been less as the 2-box offer would have been a bigger risk.

Good point - I suppose that's the danger of 'deflated' proveout offers.

Well, a 64% chance of the next offer being less wouldn't have tempted me to deal... :? ;)

Well, she did push the boat out a bit too far when she called the audience crappy - and why on earth did she want to see Tristan's toe?!? :? :? :?

The offer she dealt at did make me think quite hard. I think I would have done what she did and asked the wings, at which point I would have taken their advice and no dealt. If the Banker's proveout offers were genuine, I'm pretty sure I'd have played to the end.

What made me pause was the chance of a complete crash. Having looked at it with the benefit of hindsight, even if the 50k and 75k were taken out with a blue, the fair deal would have been at least 1,300 - a red amount. And the chances of taking out the top 3 were 1 in 56, I think, so the board was actually stronger than my gut reaction said it was.

Bit of a downer after the last 6 entertaining shows. The humour (from Noel and Zoe) missed the mark, though I did laugh at Tristan telling us he was wearing Thursday's socks. Presumably those who've been on the show can confirm that you all get told what day it is supposed to be :)

I kind of liked Zoe, okay some (most?) of the humour didn't quite work and there was more than one point where i thought 'stop messing about and open a bloody box' but it wasn't a bad game. She was mainly unlucky with the boxes and while the deal was cautious the only way she could have got more was by either playing blindly till the end, which she was never going to do, or by being even more cautious and dealing the very first offer

I would have dealt £3000 at 2-box because that's a lot of money to me and I wouldn't want to win 1p. Very cautious deal by Zoe and she almost got away with it.
