Shame that the only real decision she had in the game went against her. Ironically she ended up with £30 less than Nikki Tucker (who also had £10 in her final 2 boxes)

Nikki Tucker went away with £100 so she went away with £70 less ;)

Nikki was offered £40 but didn't deal that.

£500 was WAY overcheered there but she's got away with it!

I don't understand when people cheer high blues when they're important on bad boards. :?

Yes, high blues are automatically cheered 'just because its blue'. I had to laugh at 3 box. Noel was doing a swansong about her being potentially one of the greatest turnarounds! Give me a break. :x :x

She and her family looked well heeled. I doubt she needed the money - in fact Noel never asked her what she wanted the money for! No sane person would have sniffed away £1850 at the end the way her hubby did. If she had won the £5k it would have been her pocketmoney for a holiday to the Seychelles. We can't have every player having a fantastic board, so I'm glad we had a blue win today.

Her final words were "well I played the game". She sure did! rant over.

Did anyone else hear Noel saying in the background when the 1p was revealed that Nicky was not going to be 39th member of the 1p club?

Yep. I didn't look properly at the summary of her game.

As soon as the £250k went there was no point watching the last 20 minutes - just flick over with 5 minutes to go hoping there's a red at 2-box (which there was) and that maybe it might be won (which it wasn't). Anti-climax in the extreme.

Actually Noel did make several references to Nicki wanting a new kitchen.

That was very reminiscent of Nikki Tucker's game and i'm a little surprised neither Noel nor the Banker mentioned that.
I think once the £250k went it was inevitable Nicki would play to the end, it was the sort of board that makes gamblers of even the most cautious players

I suppose the big question is whether this was a one-off disaster or if it heralds the return of the Sunday trainwrecks

Not much she could do in that game; maybe could have dealt at 2-box, but no big shock at her gambling considering the bad game. I too would have won a tenner.

Blimey that took me back to Nikki Tucker that game!

Very unlucky but considering she had TWO all blue rounds, I thought that she had the £5,000 because I was sure that the bad luck would have taken it out of the game if she didn't. It was a shame that it ended as it had been for the majority of the game.
