Well done Fred!...such a likeable bloke,and a great result for him.
i believed him when he felt his late wifes presence-spooky the two largest
boxes came out at the end of the last two rounds,whilst he clutched her
photo.also spooky was the camera light smashing just before box 13 was
opened!!....well anyone who knows my thread/halloween story will know
how superstitious i am.thats certainly not the first time spooky goings on
have occured during a game-and it usually is a male contestant,too....
Chris in halloween wk last yr had a pidgeon dramatically fly across the set-
and then he took out the 250k!!.....spooky goings on in the dream factory...

I have to say I'm not usually won over with sob stories, but felt quite humbled after hearing Freds story. I haven't seen a deal at 8 box in a while. Still he made the right judgement and credit where credit is due. Congratulations on an OPW Fred!

It was a very entertaining show today for a number of reasons, from Noel's slightly whacky intro, to Fred's sense of humour, to the exploding lamp, to Noel and his jokes about "Urine Trouble".

The offers were good too, and the offer that Fred took was a very respectable one. And of course it turned out to be an OPW/banker spanking - so perfection in terms of gameplay!

As Noel once said himself, this game was "funny and money"...
