A couple of tough decisions today at 8-box and 5-box. Both were arguable either way. Take the QM out at 5-box and you're going to be forced to 2-box and hoping to keep the £35k in play till then.

5-box was probably a little less than I would have wanted but it's more than the £35k/£15k finish and the other 50% of finishes are a big drop from the £26k.

A cautious decision that backfires, and the old faithful at 5-box? I was expecting £30,000 since the producers can't resist announcing inflated proveout offers!

Well ultimately Boo went one round too early, though the 5 box she ended up with would have surely tempted most people onto a crash (and no matter how you spin it £15k is still a significant drop from £26k).
Not a bad game to start the week, the Banker's side bet gave the proveout an extra frission

Boo Hoo. Good to see squandering is still rife after all these years. At least we were spared an excruciating sob-story (though maybe I missed it when I temporarily nodded off waiting for the game to start - it was nearly 5.15 before we even got to open a box!) and despite the glacial pace of the game things did eventually start to get interesting.

Still I knew it wouldn't last long as did the Banker. Nobody has any guts whatsoever and one paltry offer later it was all over. Talk about lambs to the slaughter. I'll never understand how anyone can deal with the £250k still on the board but by any standards this was pretty feeble.

And an hour is far too long for the show. It absolutely dragged by.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a new wakeyteer.
Though I agree with most of your post. 30 minute games would be ideal.
