Ken now has the chance to give back his £13,000 and open his box and possibly win £35,000. Ken's son says that £13,000 is a lot of money, and he couldn't do a lot with £1,000. Ken's wife says that she would take the gamble. Ken gets more advice from the wings

Ken says

NO DEAL

I would call that a marginal ND to the gamble, I think 12k is my tipping point here...

No arguments with either call, though. Perfect time to offer the BG.

Box 7 with Brenda contains the £35,000

Wow that would have been a heartbreaking end says Noel. Ken says that he is too much of a family man to take that risk.

And it looks like it's not going to be accepted, but it's an OPW nonetheless

A very happy ending, especially for cynics!

Er, oops. Now I look an idiot. But happy to be wrong as I did like ken, especially the way he was such a good sport about Noel saying he was going to perform an operation all the time. :)

Good game, sensible decision made I think, the offer at 2 box had one been made would probably not have been much more, if anymore in fact (stick may have been likely in live play) so hecprobavly got as much out as he could have got out of the game

A cautious/sensible deal on a generous 8 box offer. A good solid game given the previous games with the 250k still in play and their ultimate outcomes. Glad he never went for the gamble though not surprised it was offered on that finish.

A well needed OPW. Sensible deal given that the 5-box offer was never going to hugely more (maybe double at best for the 10 in 56 chance of keeping the top 2 in play) and there was only a 25% chance of getting a much larger offer at 2-box (albeit the larger offer would have been of a big magnitude)

A sensible deal there i thought. Glad he hit the £250k straight off in proveout.
The Banker's Gamble made sense given the final offer would have most likely been in the same ballpark as the one Ken dealt and it added a little tension to the closing minutes. There was a good argument either way for that gamble and thankfully on this occassion the player's decision was vindicated.

And that pilgrim who subbed for Ken's daughter was a great sport

Got to say for his one time playing DOND Ken got it spot on IMO, dealt at the highest offer and no dealt the gamble which would have cost him.

Also big up to "becky" Ben, that was hiliarious
