Brilliant game. Baker admitted he was terrified again, and the player dealt at the right time.

That would be an interesting twist on the game. Instead of fighting to take home money, contestants would be called to the chair to win differing amounts of bread or bakery items!

1p - Bread roll
10p - Tesco value
50p - Kingsmill

down to...
£100000 - Big Fudge Cake
£250000 - chocolate eclairs (lots of them!) :-D :-D

I wouldn't worry about it- I keep spelling 'that' as 'taht'. I get sick of correcting myself! :D

How do you manage to WATCH the game on TV AND post a running commentary on here?? Do you watch/post simultaneously? You watch, make notes, THEN post the commentary?? :? :?

You do a grand job, however you do it.

Brilliant game, and so deserving of the win at the perfect time. Well done Peter. God bless you.

Rather fortunately I took a couple of typing courses whilst doing a NVQ in Business Administration which means I can type at about 40 words a minute and have a good chance of keeping up with what is happening on-screen, so yes, I do type and watch at the same time!

You need to have a TV in the same room as your PC obviously, but it is not too difficult to keep up with the basics - as long as they don't do a "quickie" round, and then it really becomes a struggle to keep up!

I'll be providing today's commentary as well since Kes is otherwise indisposed, so anyone who wants to help, please feel free!

Just out of idle curiousity, I thought I'd test myself here at the speed test:

http://www.typeonline.co.uk/typingspeed.php

I managed 39 wpm with just two mistakes.

I thought that was quite good, but Wikpedia says that 30-45 merely makes me 'average'. Anyone here care to take the test without cheating or cutting and pasting the paragraph so we can compare scores?

:-D

I tried this...I think my highest was about 94. I'd have been faster, but I'm so pedantic that I always have to stop and correct my mistakes.
