I still believe says Adam. Noel says Deal or No Deal is an incredible game. The Banker warns Adam to not try and convince himself he has the £100,000 in his box like he did just now with the £250,000

Banker's offer:

£16,000

Adam shakes his head and says he still believes. Noel tells him to really think about this and don't dismiss it straight away. Adam says he still believes he has a big sum of money in his box.

Adam says

NO DEAL

Has the dream ever turned into a nightmare so quickly asks Noel. The Banker says that players with faith are always the most dangerous as they always play to the end.

Banker's offer:

£16

Box 12 with Dom contains the £1

Adam says he has had a fabulous time and has made some great friends that money just can't buy.

Well that pretty much sucked towards the end! Yet another poor game to start the week...

I saw the game filmed after that so had a rough idea of what happened.
Does anyone else need convincing - this is a random game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Adam seemed too hyped up all the way through - there again I'd have gone on at 8 box.

The £30,000 was dealable but even I would have gone for it...the £16,000 was pushing it so I think I too would have crashed :(

Such a poor run of games lately...this is horrible

One of the biggest crashes from reasonable gameplay there will ever be. Horrible. He may have made those decisions for the wrong reasons, but I would have done the same...

Oh I enjoyed that. Brilliant train wreck. Great fun. Shame he had the £250 at the end. Guess the £1 would have been just too perfect.

The actual no deals were just about ok, though I think i'd have dealt both of them. £30k is getting into life changing territory, and £16k was >50% of the mean on what would in all likelihood not be a great finish.

But it was his attitude that I didn't like and made the crash enjoyable. I especially liked his comment about believing he had the £100k in the box. errr, you believed it had £250k a few minutes ago.

What will be will be indeed.

I have to say first, credit to Noel for at least trying to reel Adam in and to get him to think about the £16,000

IMO Adam wasn't greedy, but just really reckless as IMO he wasn't even thinking about the offers he was getting and was blinded by the big money still there up to just before the collapse

Nobody would have held it against him if he had gone at 30k or 16k, I most certainly would have given the 16k serious thought and most probably would have dealt

Not the first Adam to have a spectacular crash. :(

I was about to berate the "stupid reckless gambler" post above (as I'd be the biggest hypocrite ever if I jumped on the "pathetic early dealer" posts, but not that) - but it's to do with disliked personality traits then fair enough, I thought exactly the same about 1p Matty! :)

16k for me today, I feel. His board was good to go on at 8 box but when it caved in, would have taken the bailout offer. Its one of the traits when the game turns in the banker's favour, players end up chasing after the big offers again, and as Adam highlighted not always successfully. To be honest, Alarm bells should have been ringing in his head when he believed he had 250k in 16 and then it went. Its a game of chance, no more, no less.

Horrible luck and mathematically you can't really criticise either of his big gambles. 8-box was probably worth the risk and although I'd have probably have taken £16k, the EV was over £16k so it could have been worth the gamble.

It does seem recently that those people who have the "what will be will be" attitude are those that tend to have the worst luck.
