Zowie has £500 in her box 9.

Box 3 with Tomas contains the £5,000

Zowie is incredibly relieved!

OMG! Her husband really did make the offer shoot up. To get an extra £6,000 from the Banker really takes some doing. I thought £18,000 was dealable, so was £20,000 and £22,000 but £24,000 had DEAL written all over it.

I was literally shouting "DEAL!!" at the TV.

A great outcome, even if the extra 6k was a little contrived. I can't but help saying her non-reactionary stance helped and we've seen much lower offers at this stage. Her hubby went from being a pawn in the game to a key player. I have to wonder if discussing that as a strategy would work beforehand. Of course both player and loved one would have to be great at acting out the situation.

What a difference a day makes!

What a great game, just what we needed after yesterday's cruelfest (which I couldn't even bring myself to comment on). Seems like the first OPW in ages and well deserved, as people have said her non-reaction to the initially upping of the offer clearly worked in her favour, as did her partner being terrified she would no-deal! :D

Before the phone rang, I thought £20k would be a perfect offer for the board with a couple of oranges remaining, £24k would've been a certain deal for me if I'd managed to get it up that far, but gotta hand it to her for her rather skilful gameplay there.

Well if yesterday was a lesson on how not to play the game, today was a lesson on how to play the game to perfection and if yesterday was a game designed to make the player gamble, today the banker couldn't have been more different.

£18k was dealable but once it got to £24k, I was urging her to deal (although for a while it seemed like she might have gone for it) and unlike yesterday where the 20th box tensely killed the game, today it was a massive relief (although the slow way Derrick opened his box where the red colour could be seen before the amount wasn't the best thing for the nerves).

Brilliant game. Zowie was a great charecter, bubbly and funny and impossible to read.

The interplay between her partner and the Banker at the 5 box was priceless, given the odds were in favour of an OPW i thought £18k just about dealable if a little under what i might have wanted, but well done to Zowie for getting it up to £24k

Definately what we needed after yesterday's game. And there's no way Noel can put a negative spin on that ending either.

Well they certainly forced that Deal out, there was no way they were going to have a bad finish after yesterday's PR disaster. Even the most die hard DOND fan must surely now think the banker knows what is in all the boxes.

I disagree - I think it's just you - but they are definitely skewing this game left, right, and centre now, and that creates a breeding ground for conspiracies...
