Ian's game today.

Noel talks about the theme of 50 that is going on at the moment, and runs through how it started. He says he's not saying where he thinks 50 will crop up today.

Ian has box 21.

Ian is a student and a self-confessed geek, as he's into computers and enjoys taking them to pieces. He has his girlfriend in the audience today and his Dad and brother. Ian shows a pic of him with his Dad and twin brother, and talks about Nathan who passed away in 2006. Ian explains that he's helping to raise money for a charity involved with heart conditions.

Here we go...

Noel says that has a touch of yesterday's game about it. The banker says we're living in extraordinary times, and he gloats about his Old Faithful saving him a lot of cash yesterday.

Banker's offer:

£6,750

Comedy and stabilty provide a good reason to stay tuned to this one. An awful lot of things could yet happen in this one.

Ian has the right idea to play the board and go from there. This board is worth more than that offer, but not that much more; a third-offer Deal should be considered if another good round is followed by another significant improvement in the offer.

Round 3

Ian says this has never been done before, and he wants the banker to chose his next 3 boxes! The banker phones and says he'll chose the boxes. He then speakers over the loudspeaker in the studio to chose his box numbers. The banker chooses box 1, but Ian says he was keeping box 1!

1 - Bharti - £15,000

13 - Erica - £10,000

Ian says the banker's taking out the boxes that he thinks makes the board stronger! The banker chooses box 22 and Ian says that's a significant number for him.

22 - Angela - £75,000

Banker time

Well after all that, and despite the damage in round 3, this is still a very stable board going into the second adbreak, reminding me an awful lot of Andy Kelly's.
