He has a bag of luck with him which has a lucky stone in it, and he was told the stone would bring him luck if he ever went on a gameshow! He's also wearing a bracelet which has been worn by several contestants recently and has brought them luck...

Noel says Channel 4 have just had a load of phone calls for not mentioning Brendan's mum during the first break! So Noel introduces us to her as she's sitting in the audience.
