That is really, really good says Noel, and 6-2 at this stage is great.

Banker's offer:

£11,500

The power of blocks has done that...first decision of the game at £11,500...

The block does make it look tempting to carry on...

Noel runs through the previous offers, and says with the previous luck that Dawn has had this doesn't look like a mega-money game. Dawn gets advice from her friend and the wings.

Dawn says

NO DEAL

18% of the current contestants are very nice to look at indeed - that's a higher than usual percentage.

Dawn's got a strange board really with that block of mid-reds and the £75k.

I've just realised they've got a new noise when the 'squashdown' occurs at 6-box. Has it been there since New Year's Day? It sounds like an old woman's teeth rattling.

That's a deal - that's pretty much as close to the average as you're going to get!

Round 5

8 - £3,000 Eddie

A big build up from Noel on this box as Dawn picks the newbie.

7 - £250 Newbie Kim

The Banker calls and says if this last box is a blue it is a disaster for him.

He now wants to offer Dawn £17,500 to leave now!

Banker's offer:

£17,500

The same sound occurs as the amounts slide in on the studio game board

Has there ever been a 6-box offer before? Did Natalie last year get one?

The board is deceptively strong because of the block of mid-reds, but take out the £75k and you're not likely to see £17,500 again easily.

Dawn says he is a very clever man, and then asks for a sweep of the wings. The majority say NO DEAL... Dawn's friend says she would DEAL, but Dawn needs to really think about this. Linda tells Dawn that she would be really happy to go home with all the amounts on the board and Dawn agrees. The Banker calls back and tells Dawn to deal!

Dawn says

DEAL

The Banker thanks Dawn for dealing.

Banker's offer would've been:

£22,500

I think that was the right decision, considering the generosity of that offer...but £5,000 going might bring the dishonesty out of the Banker now...

Yep, £22,500 is a farce...again pretty much bang on the average - with the 10p still in play he would never have offered that much!

It is a victory says Noel, but not a spanking.

Banker's offer would've been:

£12,500
