Mo's game today.

Noel says we're all still buzzing after Tracey's game yesterday, and he says the most important thing to bring to the show is the link between your heart and your head.

Mo's not been such of a game-killer lately. 6 power-5 amounts in the first 9 games (including 4 QM's but only 3 reds in the last 13 games)

Mo has box 15.

Mo is a carpenter who also does property maintenance. Noel talks to him about his upbringing and how they slept 6 in a bed! He says he's here to change a lot of lives as he'd like to give his mum and dad some money. He'd also like some money to have a big family reunion. Mo's father-in-law is in the audience today.

We also get to see some pics of his 2 late sisters, and Mo gets quite emotional while talking about them. Mo also shows a pic of his wedding day and a scan of his wife's baby which is expected to arrive soon.

These inflated opening offers are a tad annoying. Five-figure opening offers should really be saved for all-blue opening rounds (maybe the 1k or 3k taken instead of one of the blues). Not that it matters much, since no one's ever going to take the opening offer (if they did Noel would have a heart attack and then they wouldn't get their money at all )

Anyway, a good start so far. Let's hope this keeps a good week for winnings going (Glenda's game was a blip).

A good first round offer followed by a game where the board keeps its strength sets the tone for the generosity of the offers.

The banker says Joyce and her friends like Noel because they all live in a mental home.

Mo says he has a target and only Chris knows what it is. Mo refuses to write it in the book just yet. The banker phones back and calls Chris over, but Mo hangs the phone up!

Mo says he thinks he knows where the £250,000 is based on previous games! Noel reminds us that the boxes are filled at random.

Banker time

The banker says he doesn't like the way this is developing, but is enjoying looking for the target. Mo reveals that it's on the board. Noel says the banker was going to offer £17,000, but is NOW offering...........

Banker's offer:

£20,000

20k at the 3rd offer is worth some thought but with only 1 low blue and 3 of the power 5, it's probably worth another round.

Noel says that's a genuine attempt to get Mo to deal at the 3rd offer. Matt says sometimes a target doesn't fit the run of the game.

Round 4

20 - Becca - £20,000

Noel says how about that, as he's just discarded £20,000 twice!

5 - Yaser - £50

Mo says Chris can write the target in the book after the next box, and Noel calls a break

Noel pops up with an advert about becoming a contestant.

The power of a good first offer setting the tone of the game is starting to be evident here. If this next box is blue of possibly 3k, and with the banker having just faced a player like Tracey yesterday, the next offer could well be old faithful.
