New game, new week, two OPWs on the bounce to get us here, let's do this.
And Shell's playing. Cor, remember that name, Noel? No, didn't think so. Very definitely not an all-blue opening round here, a six-figure win ruled out already. Shell reveals she has a target, a box amount, and does more damage with that one action than she did in the rest of the opening round. £NO_DEAL is obvious and warranted.
Second round is better, an orange and two blues... seven grand and change on this board? Lawks, that's almost good! We play on, though... finally a five-figure hit, but it's low, and an orange follows... and a five-figure offer! Now, what's this about 'freedom money'?
The Rock goes... then the ten grand, so it's all about the one-in-three chance of a Power 5 in the box... the penny drops! That could trigger an eight-box Deal, the offer will certainly be improved... it is as well, and I'd probably have to take this...

Shell says her biggest regret would be if she dealt and there was a big amount in her box.
Read: Shell has listened to the producers, and is going to make questionable gambles on their behalf.
Boy does this one pay off though - what a round! It's the classic mean-below-median situation, and the Banker predicts a high-volatility finish - and it is a 60% chance... Old Faithful is a fairly predictable offer, and honestly? If you could turn down £15,000 at eight-box you should probably be playing on here too. She duly does.
Ten grand for a £1/£75k finish? So what will £1/£50k be then, a swap? Oh, OK, ten grand again and see also my previous remark at the five-box offer.

in banker mythology brave no deals are rewarded, not heavily punished with less than 40% of the mean.
The rational explanation: the £1/£75k promise meant it couldn't be higher.
The cynical explanation: they knew she had £50k and wouldn't swap, and wanted her to win £50k to goad more players into utterly, utterly stupid gambles for 'good television'.
Good luck to tomorrow's player - you're going to need it to handle the pressure you'll get from Noel!
