A very exciting and memorable game. Anita had some incredible luck in the first three rounds, too much perhaps as in the second half of the game it proved impossible to maintain the momentu, simply because she'd left herself nowhere really to go.

With retrospect she should have either gone at the third offer or held her nerve for one more round, but £16k was still a good result and clearly meant a lot to her. And asgames go it was certainly tense.

I got the impression that Anita was rather overwhelmed by her strong board early on in the game. I thought the 2nd and 3rd offers were particularly low though; if Anita's game had happened in the earlier days of the show, then I'm sure the banker would've offered £20k - £30k for the 2nd offer and £30k - £40k for the 3rd.

It's a shame Anita's game had that crash towards the end, but luckily it wasn't a total disaster. The banker seemed to be being dis-proportionately generous by sticking at £16k for the 5th offer (although as others have said, perhaps they're being careful not to punish 'bravery').

It's always good to see people winning life-changing sums. Well done Anita!
