Ooh, what a round, says Noel. The banker says he doesn't know whether to go up or down here...

Banker's offer:

£16,000

I think I'm gone now given that she's not giving out the aura of getting a very generous offer on a power 5/blue or orange finish.

Noel says some would say that offer's a lifeline. Mike talks about the energy in the game and Carl says she should consider the offer due to the lack of backups.

Anita says DEAL

That's the right decision for her. Might not be the right decision for the board though.

Oh no! Don't let this end on a blue finish after the best start I've seen since I began watching the show proper in January 2008. :(

Dealt af £16,000. Probably a wise decision.

Phil.

Risking £15k to win £59k is virtually 4 to 1 odds and with £1k as consolation, I'd be tempted to gamble. I don't think she will though.

The others tell Anita to think about it, and ask if she'd be prepared to leave with £1k.

Anita says NO DEAL

She keeps the £16,000.

That's 3 sensible deals in a row resulting in decent money and a player win. Can't be bad.

Phew!! Well done, Anita for dealing at the right moment. I honestly thought she may have taken the Bankers Gamble, but again she made the right choice. :D

Enjoy your £16,000, Anita.

Three games in a row with respectable deals. Let's see more of that.

Phil.

Well, that was a nice game and a half

A stick at 5-Box would be what I was looking for, so I can't fault that Deal :)

A really strong board which Anita just managed to keep the momentum in her favour for, long enough to get a good get-out at 5-box.

Admitting she wasn't a big gambler didn't help her cause (although the banker might have guessed that anyway), the first few offers really not doing the board justice at all (mind you an 11-box deal there would have annoyed more than just the wakeyists and Noel...), and by the time we got to 5-box with the game seemingly slowly collapsing, it did feel a bit anti-climactic considering what we'd seen earlier. Mind you, that was much more down to the boxes than Anita, and the only way we'd have seen a significantly bigger win was if a played-up big gambler either turned around and dealt, or played to the end and swapped.

Either way, even if the banker did initially think he could get Anita cheap, she did seem to earn his respect and I'm glad she got a sum of money that'll change her life :-D

That was actaully quite tense!

I could tell how much the money meant to Anita, I thought the admission she wasn't a gambler was quite honest and refreshing, we all knew the offers early on were nowhere near enough for the board, but the amounts on offer were clearly giving her trouble, then from 11-box it seemed as though it was going to be a relentless downward spiral and she'd end up with a game like David's from about this time last year, I don't know why the banker showed her that mercy at 5-box but I guess the producers would have not wanted her to have won a blue by being forced on having had the best 11-box board ever. It would only breed more caution in upcoming games if they were just going to get continually punished after taking justifiable risks, but good on them too for ensuring a repeat of Richard was avoided. :)

Wouldn't have complained if she'd won the £1,000 by the banker's gamble as it would have been a proper decision then, but really glad she didn't - 3 real uplifing outcomes in the last 3 days!
