Now hopefully someone will remind her about her last five games being big reds.

Also she had box 4 yesterday.

Noel says Lucy's game has been one of the unluckiest games recently, up until this point.

Lucy says DEAL

Noel says people won't be too distressed if she has £50,000 in her box after the game she had.

Lucy has £50,000 in her box 18.

4 - Ginge - £50

The banker phones. Noel gets Lucy's fiancee to go off set. He returns with a big bouquet of flowers for Lucy. :D

Ah well, shame no one reminded her. Could have been second banker spanking in a row.

Good win.

And someone reminding her would have made a difference how exactly?

Dealing was the only sane decision for her.

By £29,000?

Well anyways, I thought this would be a £50k win, guess I was wrong! :(

Her being reminded of her red run would probably have had no bearing on the result. Considering that she pretty much insta-dealed the £21k without hesitation, I'd have guessed that that extra piece of knowledge would not have made her change her mind.

She'd be just as likely to think that's a sign of it NOT being in her box!

Anyone who could have used Mark 'Logic' to turn down that two-box offer would have deserved to lose, frankly!

It's far too infrequent to see a guaranteed offer chased and actually received!!

Well done Lucy! I wouldn't have thought you'd have won nearly that much looking at the early stages of the game.

I can't imagine how anyone could turn down £21,000 on that board. Easily a cast-iron deal for me.

Blimey, where's the banker's sudden generosity come from? £21k on that finish? Did he go in a time machine and come out at November 2005 instead of 2009? :)

Still I guess he promised it so he can't go back on his word, especially when the player's taken a big risk to chase it. It was odd in those circumstances though becuase usually if you've taken a big gamble to end up at all-or-peanuts you've still usually got to compose yourself or he might put in a joke offer or even a swap like Julie. There was zero tension once we got to 2-box as everyone knew she would deal, so a £50k win was never on the cards like it could have been in other situaions. But that's all minor really as the last round was full of tension.

Similar to the last Lucy's game actually - she had a £50k/blues last 5 after the offers remained mired in low-mid 4-figures throughout, no-dealt had an all-blue round, dealt at 2-box then had the £50k in her box. Only today's offers were much more generous! Oh and they both got bouquets of flowers at the end. :)

Still I don't think any of the sane amongst us can call that a bad result. I think that's the second-only successful 3-box round chase of a promised offer, the first being Shaz two years ago, first time it was done. The only other ones I can think of were one-to-open games like Calum's and Bessie's!

And I'm sure the Mark bot has contradicted himself extolling the virtues of Box 4, meaning she should swap, only to say remember what she had yesterday when the £50k was revealed in her Box 18. :-D

Great game today. The odds that the banker gave Lucy at 5 box to gamble were worth the gamble and given that it was a low money game anyway, it made the gamble easier. Had she had turned down a five figure sum earlier in the game, it may have been harder.

Loved the way Noel tried to get a word in edgeways about the £50k about the offer but Lucy stopped him in his tracks.

The florist next to the Boca Bar does some lovely things with flowers, she has a display in the Boca Bar with her business cards leaned against it :D
