I've noticed that the people who give out advice day after day have a really bad game themselves. Still he got 1,000 better than a blue .

You have a point, but it's also worth considering Dan had a much weaker board than Carol yesterday, and it wouldn't have taken a big gambler to play to the end today. And who's to say, if Dan had had Carol's board, he'd have been given a strong offer and dealt at the same point she did.

It does sound like an unlucky game for Dan, the only way really for him to have got more (apart from a cautious deal earlier!) would have been to keep the £20k to 2-box and either hope for a strong offer or (as it turned out) swap - he may well have no dealt if the £250 or £5k had stayed, so the end result would've been the same. Good to see he appreciated what he did win too. Good on you Dan

That was more memorable for the arguments between Noel and the banker than the actual game! I did think Noel milked it about the banker offering Carol £26k when it should have been £22k a bit too much. The banker's made much bigger errors than that and paid dearly for them (offering Alice the banker's gamble, only offering Laura £45k at 2-box, only offering Lauren £13k at 2-box, I could go on.....) - £4k seems like chicken feed compared to those!!

Very disappointed about the game, I really liked Dan, he had been one of my favourites on the wings and thought he seemed the type to either win massive or extract a huge offer from the banker. Sadly the steady discovering of the big values meant that was never on, but at least the £1,000 at the end meant it wasn't totally relentless bad luck and at least gave a feelgood end to the show, and he still seemed very happy - he won't go home regretting any no-deals he made!
