This was looking a bit iffy, but this is now looking great says Noel...

Banker's offer:

£17,000

£17,000 sounds a bit fair, but I would go on with those two biggies

Noel gets close to Sean and says that he can't read him... Jez tells him that the board is looking good but it could turn this next round. The Banker calls back and says that Sean is hard to read, and Sean says that he ate 18 ice creams so the offer should be £18,000

Banker's offer:

£17,500

And with that increase, I would still go on

Sean's wife tells him to think about this even though he has always talked about opening his special number. Sean then talks about how he could really help his sister out with £17,500.

Sean says

DEAL

That wasn't good enough says Noel. The Banker says it would have made a difference. He thinks Sean's number is 4

Banker's offer would've been:

£24,444

Noel opens box 1 and reveals £50

Box 4 with David contains the £500

Noel asks why 4 is Sean's favourite, and he says it was his mums favourite number and he also loved Thunderbird 4 :P

Great win, but it's not a spanking though, but we all live in hope every day, right? ;)

Good bluff, solid Deal, no complaints even though I'd have got the OPW myself - the five-box prospects were deceptively poor so you had to be prepared to go to two-box really.

Can't complain about the deal, with three of the Power 5 I'd have carried on at least to 5-box, by then the £24,444 (or £24,000 as it would have been for anyone else surely) would have been just enough to make me deal...

...still, what would have been another painful crash was avoided today! That's gotta be worth enjoying!

The most-likely 5 box would have had 2 of the power 5 in but I presume you are talking about the fact that the banker had been showing no sign of any generosity in his offers (which the hypothetical 5 box offer showed).

After yesterday's risk-taking didn't pay off and given Sean's financial situation, you can't blame him for taking the cautious deal today.
