Noel says we're into May now and we said goodbye to April with a cracking game yesterday with Mel, who won £50k after taking the banker's gamble. Noel says it was a brave move that paid off.

Eddie Scott is from Kent and is a retired mechanic.. He speaks a little bit about how he got into the mechanic job, which involved making barge engines during the war. He says he went into the army, where he met his wife who was German. He says he tried to ask her dad for permission to marry her, but couldn't speak German, and actually asked if he could marry him

Unfortunately his wife is no longer with us. He has his new partner Pat with him in the audience.
