A position of stability rather than strength. The key thing isn't that the mega win is likely, but that it's relatively safe to chase after. A five-figure median at the second adbreak is particularly valuable.

It was 2 years ago though. She probably wouldn't look exactly the same.

Fantastic!

To be at 8-box with 6 reds still in play...we haven't had this since...since...Colin? :?

Come on though, this is looking very decent!

£10k down is disposable now and that's a good thing.

Noel tells the Banker to beware after Carol's prediction of where the 1p was... The Banker calls 'Time gentleman please'

Banker's offer:

£20,000

The 1p going removes the psychological baggage from Colin's game, which on a board like this - and given its recency - is very significant indeed.

The offer of One Rock is probably worth taking on a £100k-high board but there's plenty of routes to a bigger win, albeit very few to a much bigger win.

This is a judgement call for Carol. Either decision is justifiable.

That is a nice chunky sum says Noel, but Chris tells her that she still has a strong board and should carry on... Carol goes to her partner and he thinks there is another round in the game...

Carol says

NO DEAL

She couldn't have dealt on that board! Here's hoping there is indeed more available to her!

It comes down to whether twenty grand is a job well done for you. And for Carol apparently it isn't.

When you look at the board that was far from a disaster says Noel, and he hopes the Banker gives a fair offer here...

Banker's offer:

£17,500

£17,500 isn't enough for me on that board.

Again it's that £1,000 that's the tipping point. Losing the £100,000 would still see a similar offer if the £100 and £1,000 were to also go
